The Lucie is a sweet little vase. Measuring 3.5" x 4.75", it's great for those taller flowers that need a little extra support. The slightly raised bottom gives the impression of it just barely sitting.
I always wanted a rich and vibrant purple. So I made one and here it is: Amethyst. I use 3 glazes to achieve this rich complexity of colour, so there is subtle variation on each piece. Because of this glazing process, no two are exactly alike and yours may look a bit different than the one pictured.
Made from scratch in my studio in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, using lightweight sturdy porcelain.
